The Lincoln Vein Clinic offers a full range of treatments for all aspects of venous disease from unsightly thread veins on the legs, varicose veins and varicose skin changes to advice regarding the prevention of DVT.
All consultations, investigations and treatments are provided by Mr Paul Dunning, a Consultant Vascular Surgeon with a special interest in venous disease. The clinic is run from the BMI Lincoln Hospital in uphill Lincoln and from St Hugh’s Hospital, Grimsby.
The initial consultation consists of a full medical history including a venous continuous-wave doppler assessment. Patients with varicose veins may need further investigations, including a venous duplex scan. Duplex scans can usually be undertaken at the same visit.
