Mr Braithwaite has been a Consultant Vascular Surgeon in the East Midlands since 2000.
Mr Braithwaite’s qualifications include Master of Surgery, Master of Arts, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, and Fellowship in General Surgery.
A pioneer of research into varicose vein treatment, Mr Braithwaite led the team that introduced the Olympus RFiTT keyhole technique to Europe. He uses the latest technologies and is an expert in the management of varicose veins, spider veins, venous leg ulcers and deep venous disease following a DVT. He is able to advise on and treat arterial disease such as intermittent claudication, aortic aneurysms and carotid artery disease.
